Deregulation on the agenda for comp meds

A new campaign is underway to remove “unnecessary regulation and red tape” surrounding complementary medicines in Australia.

Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA) launched its deregulation agenda in Canberra this week, releasing a new paper identifying three priority areas for deregulation.

CMA estimated the total value of savings from proposed deregulation would be $70 million per annum.
