Djakic misses spot on AMLA board
The current chair of the AGPN has failed to secure a director’s seat on the peak body set up to lead the Medicare Local network.
Tasmanian GP Dr Emil Djakic, who has led the divisions of general practice for more than four years, put his name forward in the election to become one of the directors of the Australian Medicare Local Alliance (AMLA).
But following votes from 45 of the Medicare Locals, Dr Djakic failed to make the cut.
