Doctor accused of masturbating teens during consults

A SYDNEY doctor accused of indecently assaulting boys under the guise of needing samples of their semen has denied any sexual misconduct.

Giving evidence in the NSW District Court, the elderly grandfather said he had never behaved inappropriately in a sexual way towards any of the five complainants.

He has pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of indecent assault of the boys, aged 14 to 15, at times between 1975 and 1981 in his North Shore surgery or in a Sydney hospital.

On Tuesday the jury found him not guilty of one charge, on the direction of Judge Leonie Flannery.
