Doctors to blame for superbugs

Doctors are to blame for the "great tragedy" of increasing antimicrobial resistance, says an infectious diseases specialist.

Dr Krispin Hajkowicz, an infectious diseases physician and senior lecturer at the University of Queensland, said medical practitioners using "too many antibiotics too much of the time" was one of the main drivers of antimicrobial resistance.
