Doctors: don’t discard the trusty stethoscope
Curtin University researchers surveyed 168 patients waiting in WA pharmacies for a prescription to be filled. While they waited patients were shown 10 photos on an iPad of a man in a casual shirt with a neutral expression – some with medical equipment typical of a “general practitioner’s bag”.
