Domestic violence unscreenable

Screening women for intimate partner violence doesn’t actually stem the abuse, according to an Australian-led review.

Data from 11 trials involving 13,000 women revealed that although screening did increase identification of women suffering abuse from their partners, it didn’t lead to more referrals to support clinics or reduce the violence itself.
