Doubt over ‘natural’ headlice shampoo

Research claiming a “natural” head lice shampoo is more effective than pesticide-based shampoos has been greeted with scepticism by an expert.

The study reported that 68% of children were louse-free after using a non-pesticide-based shampoo for three weeks, compared to just 43% of children treated with malathion shampoo.
