Down-scheduling Rx meds could save billions: ASMI

Rescheduling commonly prescription medicines to Pharmacist–Only could save the Federal Government $2.1 billion a year, new research reveals.

The Australian Self-Medication Industry (ASMI) funded study, by the Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy, highlighted the economic and consumer benefits of down-scheduling medications.
