Dozens of malpractice cases to be reopened

Police are set to revive dozens of previously resolved malpractice cases, following allegations that Queensland medical regulators were involved in a cover-up.

Six doctors involved in 24 cases have been referred to police by the state's Crown Prosecutor Jeffrey Hunter SC after a detailed review of 89 complaint files held by medical regulators — including the Queensland Medical Board.
