Dr Charlie Teo to trial medical cannabis on patients with brain cancer
Complementary medicine researchers will compare high- and low-dose THC
29th October 2018
Neurosurgeon Dr Charlie Teo is teaming up with complementary medicine researchers in a trial to discover if medical cannabis can reduce tumour growth for patients with malignant brain cancer.

The randomised trial involving up to 82 patients with high-grade gliomas is being run by staff from the Endeavour College of Natural Health, a higher education institution that offers degrees in naturopathy, complementary medicine and acupuncture.
Patients will continue to receive standard treatment but half will receive a high-THC oral medical cannabis over three months
