Drive-through pharmacy offers new level of convenience

Patients will be able to wait in their car for their medicines

Pyjama-clad customers are going to be the norm for pharmacist Nader Ibrahim, who is launching the ACT’s first drive-through pharmacy this week.

Mr Ibrahim, co-owner of the Gold Creek Discount Drug Store in Nicholls, is inspired to provide a more convenient service for parents and patients with disabilities.

“A lot of mums come in for bits and bobs, and the kids are waiting in the car. They are literally standing in the doorway while their [purchase] is processed.”
