Employ GPs to assist the rulers of Medicare
Can someone explain how for a decade this man practised without a provider number or prescriber number?
Surely he charged them for seeing him, wrote out a script – something that the government had to fork out money for and then rejected. (They reject enough of our claims and we have the necessary provider/prescriber numbers.)
Wouldn't a chemist complain? A patient? Medibank? It took 10 years for the penny to drop with Medicare? And they say we are inefficient?
