Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals should be delivering a message that emphasises the role of topical corticosteroids (TCS) for treating paediatric eczema.

Speaking at the recent Australasian College of Dermatologists’ annual scientific meeting in Adelaide, AMA NSW President Dr Saxon Smith said the misinformation about TCS is leading to unnecessary concerns amongst parents and patients, despite it being the most effective treatment available.
