Experts divided over WHO listing gaming addiction as mental health disorder
There are concerns the UN health agency may have acted too early

The decision by the WHO to dub gaming addiction a mental health disorder has divided experts internationally, with an Australian researcher suggesting scientific support for it is not rock solid.

The UN health agency announced the new classification, along with a raft of other changes, last week when it released the 11th edition of the International Classification of Diseases.
The controversial decision to list compulsive gaming as a disorder goes a step further than the American Psychiatric Association, which recommended more research be undertaken
