The flu vaccine is effective in kids under two and should be included in routine childhood immunisation schedules, a large WA study finds.

Examining the efficacy and safety of the vaccine in this young age group, the observational study of more than 2000 children over a four-year period found that trivalent influenza vaccination (TIV) should be included in routine childhood immunisation schedules.
