Flu vax's added CV benefits

The flu vaccine can lower the risk of MI and stroke, particularly in patients with a recent history of heart disease, an international review suggests.

A meta-analysis including 6735 people found only 2.9% of those given the influenza vaccine developed a major adverse cardiovascular event within the following year, compared with 4.7% of unvaccinated people.
