Former Primary GP declared bankrupt

A former Primary Health Care GP who claimed he was pursued by the corporate because of a personal vendetta against him has been declared bankrupt over $165,000 in unpaid legal bills.

Dr Nadi Hanna originally signed a five-year contract with the corporate — worth $550,000 — but ended up repaying $175,000 in a mediated settlement after he failed to fulfill his duties, including meeting his contracted hours.

Primary was left with substantial legal costs and served a creditor’s petition on Dr Hanna in an attempt to recoup $165,000.
