Formula 'merry-go-round': Lactose-free does nothing

LACTOSE-FREE infant formulas aren't the answer to infant feeding problems, a study suggests, prompting calls for parents to end the "merry-go-round" of formula changes.

In a double-blind randomised study of 300 babies, caregivers reported no evidence that altered milk or soy-based formulas alleviated fussines and crying, or the physical symptoms of cramping, gas and diarrhoea.
