Four “red-flag” signs and symptoms may signal an elevated risk for early-onset colorectal cancer, according to a study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

Researchers used data from 5075 incident early-onset colorectal cancer among US medical insurance beneficiaries and matched controls with two or more years of continuous enrolment (2006 – 2015).
