Free gift for million-dollar Health Minister

Australian Doctor is sending Federal Health Minister Sussan Ley copies of our magazine after it emerged her favoured reading material doesn't appear to include any medical or health publications.

Ms Ley was revealed as one of Australia’s “million-dollar pollies” following the publication of federal MP expense claims last month.

Although Ms Ley has justified the continued cuts to GP Medicare funding because of the country’s supposed fiscal emergency, her own taxpayer-funded expenses reached more than $1 million during her first year as health minister.
