Government announces review of TGA regulations

The Federal Government has announced a review of the TGA’s regulation of medicines and medical devices, in an effort to reduce the “unnecessary red tape” surrounding Australia’s health system.

A panel of three experts has been established to conduct the review, consisting of former PBAC chairman Lloyd Sansom, former chief medical officer John Horvath, and former Medicines Australia chairman Will Delaat.
