Govt targets grandfather over his Medicare campaign

The Federal Government is threatening a grandfather with legal action, because his virtually unknown website campaign against the Medicare freeze used the official Medicare logo.

Mark Rogers (pictured), from Sydney, received a letter threatening that the government would take him to court if he did not take down the website and linked social media accounts.

His website — — calls on the government to end the rebate freeze, stop cutting MBS rebates, stop subsidising private health insurance and expand Medicare to include dentistry.
