GP accused of murdering wife ‘did not know’ how she died
A GP accused of murdering his wife with an insulin injection told police he did not know how she died, a court has heard.
Dr Brian Crickitt, from Woodbine in Sydney’s south-west, is on trial in the NSW Supreme Court for allegedly killing his wife, Christine Crickitt, on New Year’s Eve, 2009.
Prosecutors claim that Dr Crickitt injected his wife with a lethal dose of insulin so he could be with his lover, Linda Livermore — a former patient — and claim more than $500,000 in life insurance.
