GP banned after sex with addict

A Sydney doctor has been banned from practising for three years after he allowed a young alcoholic patient to live in his eastern suburbs home, carelessly prescribed her addictive drugs, and had sex with her.

The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal found GP Dr Miodrag "Michael" Huber acted inappropriately by giving the woman, who is about 30 years his junior, a spare room in his Elizabeth Bay home after the place she was renting was sold.

It also found Huber, now 67, took Rohypnol home for the woman and prescribed her a cocktail of medications without proper consideration for further addiction problems or
