GP banned from end-of-life care after patient death

A rural GP has denied wrongdoing despite being banned from providing end-of-life care after the death of his elderly patient.

Restrictions were placed on Dr Alan Kosky's practice after he was interviewed by police over the death of 79-year-old Sheila Heims, who died at Nagambie Hospital in Victoria in 2008 while under his care.
