GP banned in UK seeking work in Australia

A doctor banned from working for the UK’s National Health Service amid concerns she planned to use scorpion and spider venom in illegal human research is hoping to practise in Australia.

Dr Rapinder Adekola, 42, was arrested with her husband in April last year after trying to purchase black widow spider and death stalker scorpion venom through a company set up in her husband’s name.
