GP denies groping claims
Dr Thomas Charles Foley has pleaded not guilty to one count of assault with indecent intent on a woman during a consultation last August.
The GP of 37 years' experience told the Hobart Magistrates Court the consultation had been so "routine" he didn't remember it and needed to consult his notes when a complaint was made to police.
"I wouldn't have done it and I didn't," he said.
"I did not go anywhere near her bottom, whichever bit of it she says I attacked."
The complainant told the court Dr Foley, 62, had touched her after offering to help take her jacket off for a blood pressure test.
