GP inspires enthusiasm in registrars
IT ISN’T hard for selfdescribed “happy GP” Dr Sam Seimon to inspire his registrars.
“I enjoy my work,” the Adelaide-based MO/GPET Supervisor of the Year nominee said.
“[General practice] is an area of medicine that is often underrated, but it’s one of the most complex areas. We don’t know what’s going to walk in,” he told MO. “I try to bring that sense of enthusiasm and intrigue of general practice and make it interesting for my training doctors.”
That goes even for patients whose situations may not seem out of the ordinary.
