GP killed driving to work
A Victorian GP who lost his life in a car crash on the way to work this month has been remembered by colleagues and family as a gentle and kind man, and a talented doctor.
Dr Frank Eng Chor Lee was making his daily two-hour journey from his home in Hamilton to Ballarat’s Eureka Medical Centre on 5 July when his car veered off the road and hit a tree in heavy morning fog.
His friend and colleague, Dr James Choong, described Dr Lee as gentleman and talented doctor who loved general practice.
