GP who called patient ‘idiot’ guilty of misconduct
The Medical Tribunal of NSW made the finding based on a consultation in January 2009 when the man asked Dr Robyn Pogmore, of Wagga Wagga, for prescriptions and a copy of his records before he moved interstate. The patient complained after the printer jammed and Dr Pogmore became impatient and printed the documents on scrap paper.
“Dr Pogmore said to me…‘You should be happy with what you have’,” the patient’s complaint said, according to the tribunal. “I asked Dr Pogmore if the nurses outside could print a copy
