GPs advise antenatal flu shots

A telephone survey of 462 women who delivered a baby in a public hospital in the Sydney and South-Western Sydney local health districts between June and September 2012, found just 116 reported receiving the influenza vaccination during their pregnancy, with those cared for by a GP or through GP shared care having 2.4 times the odds of receiving the vaccine.
