GPs missing vital signs

There is room for improvement in the way GPs detect lifestyle risk factors for stroke or heart disease, say researchers from the University of Newcastle.

The results from their study of 51 GPs and 565 patients show that GPs are regularly missing risk factors for CVD in all patients, regardless of their medical history.
