GPs urged to persevere with problematic online CBT

GPs are being urged to keep an “open mind” on the benefits of online mental health programs after a UK study found they had little benefit.

The RACGP has says  the negative results of a large randomised controlled trial study published in the BMJ are a reminder to GPs to be judicious over which patients with depression or anxiety may best respond to self-guided online CBT programs.
