Guild launches campaign to 'save' chemists
As the sounds of a sobbing boy fill Australian airwaves, a mother is heard struggling to distract her son from the pain.
"It's okay. It's okay. C'mon sweetie. It'll be okay," she says unconvincingly as the boy continues to sob.
What has put this poor boy in this position? Well, the pharmacy has closed down of course.
The radio attack ad is the latest ploy from the Pharmacy Guild of Australia as it fights the Rudd Government's plan to strip $2 billion from pharmacist funding over the next four years.
