Have your say on PSA’s code of ethics

Pharmacists have a month to have their say on the PSA’s new draft code of ethics.

The association says it updated the five-year-old code to ensure it was consistent with the ethical requirements of contemporary pharmacist practice and reflects consumers’ expectations.

The new version aims to deal with emerging therapeutic areas like biosimilars, and new technologies like digital health.

The PSA is calling for pharmacists, other health care professionals and the broader public to make submissions to the draft PSA Code of Ethics for Pharmacists.

It has released a consultation paper to guide this feedback.
