A healthy change

Just outside the NSW town of Orange, past the vineyards and orchards growing in the rich volcanic soil of Mount Canobolas, is the home of general practitioner Dr Michael Sobotta and his wife, urologist Dr Claire Whelan.

With 15 acres of their own rambling green space for their three young daughters, Gretel, aged five, Ingrid, three, and Renata, nine months, the couple’s country hamlet in central-western NSW is a world away from the shopping malls and traffic lights of Sydney’s northern beaches
