Herbal supplements pulled from major US retailers

Four major US retailers have been ordered to stop selling their store brands of certain herbal dietary supplements, due to allegedly mislabelled content.

As reported by Forbes, the New York State Attorney General’s office issued cease-and-desist orders to GNC, Target, Walgreens and Walmart, after DNA testing showed that only 21% of the tested supplements contained the plants listed on product
