Hospital sorry for billing dead patient

As revealed by MO yesterday, Sydney woman Isabelle Woodbridge was shocked to receive a bill from the Nepean Hospital Cancer Care Centre in December 2011 for a visit by her husband Neville on 15 June 2010.

He had died just weeks after that visit and the $71.35 bill had already been paid by the Workers’ Compensation Dust Diseases Board, along with the rest of his treatment for asbestos-related mesothelioma.
