Need it be pointed out that (some) Doctors all around Australia offer their patients the service to call up and ask for a repeat of a long term medication and if appropriate, the patient presents to the surgery, pays a receptionist $10ish and leaves without even being with arm's reach of a doctor. Point out to me why under strictly controlled circumstances and criteria, this is any better than pharmacist continued dispensing.
At some clinics the receptionist asks - 1) are you hear to see the doctor? 2) medical
