The competence of a New Zealand doctor is in question after it was found she advised a pregnant woman to continue taking a dangerous combination of prescription drugs.

The Health and Disability Commissioner, Dr Anthony Hill, heard how the GP prescribed cilazapril, fluoxetine and cholvastin to the 35-year-old patient despite knowing she was actively trying to conceive.
