IMGs cite discrimination in report

The report was the product of a parliamentary inquiry into the registration processes for IMGs, which received 216 submissions and heard from 145 witnesses during 22 public hearings in 12 cities.

It noted IMGs were highly valued by their local communities but “do not always receive the same level of support from the institutions and agencies that accredit and register them”.
