Incompetency claim thrown out by tribunal
The MBA had sought a ruling that Dr John Stanley Whiteside, a Perth myofascial medicine practitioner, lacked the “knowledge and skill to practise safely and competently”.
Following a complaint by the Professional Services Review stemming from an audit, the board sought the finding based on 25 separate grounds involving the treatment of 22 patients. In one case, Dr Whiteside was approached by a patient wanting exemption from vaccinating her child, the WA Administrative Tribunal said.
The tribunal said Dr Whiteside claimed he spoke to the woman then
