Insomnia linked to atrial fibrillation risk

Poor sleepers - whether or not they have sleep apnoea - are at risk of developing atrial fibrillation, a new analysis shows.

US researchers examined three sources of data, each using a different approach, to isolate and confirm the effects of poor sleep on atrial fibrillation.

Their analyses shows that:
