Introduce clinical and community KPIs for practices

If a practice is committed to improving the health outcomes of their patients, they should have rewards so they can continue their good work.

A GP who contributes to the community, keeps a motivated practice, spends money training staff as well as seeing patients, should be rewarded.

There are many GPs who do home visits, see patients in nursing homes and take extra time in consults who directly keep patients out of emergency rooms. Why not make public some key performance indicators on a website regarding a practice? It could be opt-in.

Let patients make the choice when they know two practices in their area have two very different clinical outcomes.
