Joint Australia and NZ regulator off the table

Plans for a joint therapeutic products regulator for Australia and New Zealand have been scrapped, following a comprehensive review.

Australian Minister for Health Peter Dutton and New Zealand Minister for Health Dr Jonathan Coleman announced that both governments had agreed to cease efforts to establish a joint therapeutic products regulator, known as the Australia New Zealand Therapeutic Products Agency (ANZTPA).
