Junior doctors seek $50k more to be GPs

Boosting GP income by $50,000 would increase the number of junior doctors opting to become GP by more than 25%, a new study has found.

The findings, based on the MABEL survey of doctors working in Australia, also found increasing procedural work for GPs could increase the number of junior doctors chosing general practice by 28%.
