Last chance for intern crisis students
Medical interns who are still without a placement for next year are being asked to urgently contact the Department of Health and Ageing.
Four states - Queensland, WA, the ACT and the NT - signed agreements with the Federal Government earlier this month that will create 116 new internships for next year, in a last-ditch scramble to find places for all graduating medical students.
The positions have not yet been accredited or allocated.
