Long hours on feet stunts fetal growth

Women who spend long hours on their feet while pregnant go on to have smaller babies, a study of nearly 5000 mothers suggests. 

Published Thursday, the research found babies born to women whose work required long periods of standing or walking, had head circumferences 1cm smaller than average. 

Working long hours also had an apparent impact on fetal growth. Babies born to women who worked more than 40 hours a week had a 1cm decrease in head
