March launch for 18-month pertussis booster

Pertussis booster is to be reintroduced to the national program for toddlers aged 18 months from March, says the Department of Health.

Sufficient stocks of dTpa vaccine are now available to allow an additional booster to be provided at 18 months, GPs and immunisation providers have been told.
