Mark-up free dispenser aims to disrupt pharmacy ‘cartels’

An Australian pharmacist has launched a novel online dispensing service for which patients pay an annual fee for unlimited “mark-up free” scripts.

Sunit Ruparelia says he launched to offer an affordable alternative to customers, who he says are “at the mercy” of community pharmacies who charge exorbitant mark-ups and engage in “cartel behaviour”.
